Handling data of the project participants
Participation in the project "Testing the Future of the City – A living and working experiment for a climate neutral city of Görlitz" requires the willingness to participate in the accompanying scientific study. For this purpose, data is collected within the framework of questionnaires, scientific interviews and feedback discussions. The aim is to gain insights into the participants' living and working location requirements and to analyse their evaluation in the city of Görlitz.
All personal data such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and age will be stored in a database at the IOER for the duration of the project. Only the employees of the research institute involved in the project, who are subject to confidentiality and are obliged to maintain data secrecy, have access to the personal data of the project participants.
The data collected in the questionnaires, conversations and interviews are stored in pseudonymised form. The correlation between personal data and questionnaire data is established on the basis of a code that is only known to the employees of the research institute.
Your personal data will only be used for this research project. It will not be passed on to third parties for other purposes.
As soon as the purpose of the research permits, your personal data will be destroyed or deleted.
The data is processed on the basis of consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Consent given can be revoked at any time - in whole or in part - with effect for the future in writing to the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER), Fax +49 351 4679212, resp. by e-mail to datenschutz. One will not be disadvantaged by refusal of consent or revocation.
